GetMail Evolution
Hotmail Email Forwarding
Hotmail was the first major webmail system, although maybe not the biggest at the present time it still has a huge number of users. There are a lot of alternatives available and the majority of people like to try and use various e-mail accounts. The problem with Hotmail is that once you have given somebody your Hotmail account your email is stuck there, many other providers are more flexible, allowing you to redirect e-mail to other accounts but Hotmail doesn't offer this. GetMail Evolution is a small application that you can run that will forward your messages for you, simplifying your daily e-mail checking routine and even allowing you to read your Hotmail messages on portable devices.
NO, in order to use GetMail Evolution your e-mail account must still have an access method called WebDAV enabled. At one point all Hotmail accounts used to have WebDAV but Microsoft changed it's policy several years ago in an attempt to reduce the amount of SPAM originating from Hotmail. A large number of the older accounts and any paid account will have WebDAV enabled, if you are not sure please download the free trial and try that, you will receive a warning message if your account is not compatible with GetMail Evolution.
All of your messages will be forwarded as long as they are under 4 megabytes in size, do not contain any exe or zip attachments and have not previously been forwarded from that same account in the last 28 days. If a message is too big or has an attachment an alert message will be sent to the receiving account to let you know that you have messages that have not been forwarded.
