Is this program guaranteed to work with my Hotmail account?

No guarantee is offered or implied, a free trial is available (only limited by the number of messages that can be forwarded per day) and it is highly recommended that you download and confirm the trial works for your setup BEFORE buying.

What about updates?

Minor version updates are completely free, major version updates (i.e. from version 1 to 2 etc) will be available at a discounted rate. You will receive a notification mail each time a new update becomes available.

Can I get a refund?

A full refund is offered for up to a maximum of 48 hours after the initial purchase. This gives you plenty of time to try the software, if you don't like it we'll send you a full refund via Paypal. It is strongly recommended that you try the free trial before purchasing.

Can I install and run it on multiple PC's?

No, your purchase is for a single instance of the software and should only be run from 1 PC at a time.

Can this help me to read my Hotmail on my Blackberry?

Yes, by forwarding your Hotmail e-mail to a standard POP3 mail account that is synced with your Blackberry will result in you being able to read your Hotmail messages.

Do I have to have my PC running for messages to be forwarded?

Yes, your PC and GetMail Evolution must be running in order for messages to be forwarded. If you'd prefer not to leave your computer running then we recommend you try the Hotmail Forwarding Service offered by ForwardAmerica.

Can I run GetMail Evolution as a windows service?

GetMail Evolution does not use the registry for storing settings. This has 2 benefits, not only can it be ran from portable media such as a USB memory drive but it also means that the program can be managed by many of the "Run As Service" applications that are available. There is no need for a user to login for this to work.

My Hotmail account doesn't have WebDAV, is there any way I can use GetMail Evolution?

GetMail Evolution can also forward messages from a standard POP3 mail server, there is software available that can emulate a POP3 server for many types of e-mail account including Hotmail, Yahoo and AOL. Alternatively you can update your Hotmail account to a paid account.

My SMTP server doesn't appear to be working?

GetMail Evolution only supports none SSL based SMTP servers and simple authentication. If your SMTP server requires you to login to your POP3 server before your SMTP server then it can not be used.

I get an "Unable to relay" error?

Your SMTP server must allow relaying, if your server requires authentication then it is possible that you have enerted incorrect username/password details.

I get consistent socket errors?

GetMail Evolution is an internet based application, in order to work it requires open access to the internet. A socket error is an indication that there is a problem, it could be that maybe the server you have specified doesn't exist or that your firewall is blocking GetMail from working. Once you have confirmed that your server, username and password details are correct you should check your firewall, anti-virus and anti-spam software to make sure that nothing is blocking GetMail Evolution.
